What customers look for before they ring
Your Gas Safe number, and the work you're registered for, are on the pages people read before they call, so they can check you without having to ask. Your reviews are there too, and photos of jobs you've finished. If you fit heat pumps, your MCS certification is shown, since a customer needs an MCS installer to get the government grant.
Getting the call
Your number is one tap away on every page. If you take emergency call-outs, someone with a burst pipe or no heating finds it and gets through straight away. Anyone else can send an enquiry whenever it suits them, so they get in touch with you rather than ringing the next firm.
Found for the work you want more of
You choose the work you want more of, and that's where we put the effort: new boilers, servicing, bathrooms, landlord gas safety certificates, heat pumps if you fit them. Each gets a page, and so does each area you cover, so people searching for any of them can find you. If you do other work as well, each of your services gets its own page. Your Google Business Profile, the listing people see on Google Maps, is checked and filled in, so what people see there is right, and it's updated whenever you ask.
Landlords, agents and contract clients
Before a letting agent, housing association or commercial client adds you to their list, they look you up. Your site shows your Gas Safe registration, the work you do for landlords and businesses, and who they'd be dealing with. Landlords search too, for gas safety certificates and servicing, so those get pages of their own.
Every month
Each month you get a short report in plain English: how many people visited, what they read, how many called or sent an enquiry, and what they searched to find you. You can see which of your services bring people in, and how that changes from month to month.
Then we act on it. When people search for a service you offer and find other businesses instead, we add it to your site, so they can find you too. When few people visit a page, or it isn't leading to calls and enquiries, we rework it. And changes and new pages are made whenever you ask.
Already have someone for your website?
We'd take the website over from them, and do the rest as well: a page for each thing you do, a Google Business Profile that's right, and a monthly look at what's working. Your free audit shows whether people searching for what you do are finding your current site.
The price
£429 + VAT a month. No setup fee.
That covers your report and the work that comes from it every month, changes and new pages whenever you ask, and keeping your site online, secure and backed up.
A 12-month minimum term, then month to month with 30 days' notice.
We work on the design with you, and nothing goes live until you're happy with it. If you're still not happy with it, you can end the agreement before it goes live and get back what you've paid.
If you leave, you keep your web address, every word and photo, your Business Profile with its reviews, and your past reports.
Questions
Most of our work comes from Gas Safe, Checkatrade and people who know us. Does our website matter?
When someone who's been recommended to you, or found you on a register, looks you up, your website is what they find: your Gas Safe details, your reviews and your finished work, before they ring.
Does it work with our job software?
Calls and enquiries come to your office as they do now. If your job software can take enquiries from a website, we connect yours to it, so they go straight into your system; if it can't, they keep coming to your office by email.
Who takes the photos?
You do. Send us photos of finished jobs whenever you have them, and we add them to your site.
Who writes the words?
We do, unless you'd rather write your own. Nothing goes live until you've approved it.
What isn't included?
We don't do paid advertising, social media or photography.
