Common questions
Do I need to already be a Softy website client?
No. This runs independently of the managed website service — we deliver content in whatever format suits your site or CMS, whether that's Softy-built or not.
Is this just AI-generated content?
No. Every piece is drafted with AI assistance, then run through automated fact-checking against your own business claims and our writing standards, and finally read and edited by a person before it's delivered. Nothing goes out unreviewed.
What if I don't like a draft?
One round of revisions is included with every post. If a piece needs more than that, it usually means the brief needs adjusting — we'll sort that out with you directly.
How fast is turnaround?
Most posts are delivered within 5 working days of your brief being confirmed. Retainer clients get a set delivery date each month once the schedule is agreed.
Do I own the content?
Yes, always. Once delivered, the content is yours — publish it, edit it, or use it however you like.
Is there a setup fee?
A one-off fee applies for new clients so we can build up the business context, tone, and pricing/claims your content needs to reference accurately. This is waived if you choose the retainer.
Is there a minimum retainer term?
Yes — 3 months. That covers the setup work the waived fee accounts for and gives enough time to actually see how the content performs. After the initial 3 months, the retainer continues month-to-month and you can cancel at any time.
